The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad is about 20 km away from the IIT Gandhinagar campus. Several international flights operate from the Ahmedabad airport. The Ahmedabad Railway Station (Kalupur) is about 30 km away from the campus. The city is well connected both by air, train, and road to all major cities of India. Travel from the airport and train station to the campus takes about 25 – 30 minutes by cab. Uber and Ola cabs are available for transport.
Accommodation: Attendees can be accommodated at the Institute Guest House. The guest house is only a few minute walk from the venue and are approximately $40/night. Budget accommodation options are also available for students in double-occupancy hostel rooms on campus which will be approximately $20/night.

IIT Gandhinagar has a medical facility on-campus. There are several good hospitals nearby. Please ask the guest/house hotel receptionist for assistance. Please carry your Health/Travel insurance along with you, which will be needed in case you have to be admitted to a hospital.

The Conference will be unable to contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf, so please begin your visa application process as soon as you determine that you want to attend the IEEE SAUS 2024.
To apply for the conference Visa, you will need an invitation letter and information about SAUS 2024 event clearance from the Extenal Affairs Ministry, Govenment of India. Please email cfolkerts@conferencecatalysts.com to receive the invitation letter.
The organizing committee has shared a form with all potential international attendees through an email, which contains the information needed for event clearance from the Ministry of External Affairs. Once the ministry clearance is obtained, we will share this information with you. Subsequnetly, you can apply for the e-visa process, which typically takes only a few days.
